JV team wins two in a row

Junior Varsity Tiger Bruce Clark makes a lay-up for two of his game-high 15 points in a 40-34 win over Riverside Military Academy Monday.

The Dawson County High School junior varsity boys basketball team won its second game in a row with a 40-34 win over Riverside Military Academy on Monday. Head Coach Wes Greer’s team now stands at 7-6 on the season.

  

Dawson rallied, after trailing 21-14 at halftime, to outscore Riverside 26-13 over the last two quarters to secure the victory.

  

Tiger Bruce Clark had an outstanding game on offense. He led the team with 15 points.

  

Will Anglin also scored in double digits for Dawson with 11 points.

  

Also putting up numbers for the Tigers were Mitchell Putnam with six points,

  

Josh Scaife added four points and Koby Rogers contributed two points.
